Current CA RN license required. BSN preferred. Certified Occupational Health experience required. 3 years recent acute care medical surgical experience required. Claims management care experience required. Discharge planning and prior experience in utilization review preferred. Managed care experience preferred. Proficient use of mainframe and PC systems essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English required. Must be able to communicate effectively face to face and over the telephone. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of CPT and ICD coding required. Must be able to think beyond structured paradigms to improve systems and develop innovative solutions to occupational health challenges as they arise. Complex problem solving skills and ability to organize and respond quickly to demands of a dynamic work environment.
