Associates degree in Health Information Technology, Business Administration or related field. Registered Records Administrator (R.R.A); or Accredited Records Technician (A.R.T.) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Three years experience in a Health Management Department. Supervisory experience required. Experience required with DRG reimbursement, discharge processing and automated systems. Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicated with all levels of hospital personnel, physicians and external contacts.
