Undergraduate degree, preferably in liberal arts or scientific field. 5 years fund-raising experience, preferably in a medical setting. Demonstrated record of success in a major gift fund raising. Capital campaign experience desirable. Experience in all aspects of philanthropic fund development, including working knowledge of rules and regulations governing charitable estate planning. Demonstrated ability to manage and staff a volunteer board of directors for a non-profit organization and ability to supervise and lead fund-raising and administrative staff. Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate work with varied constituencies, including volunteers, boards of trustees, physicians, patients and donors. Excellent writing and verbal skills. Computer proficiency.
